Ask Gemini for a faceless video, a thumbnail or channel research, and it gets made on your Digital Maker.AI account, on your plan, saved to your library. It is the same connector as our Claude and ChatGPT integrations, and setup takes about three minutes.

Put your AI presenter on screen
Pick one of your presenters and choose how much of the video they present, full screen, split screen or in a corner circle. Paid from avatar time, not video minutes.
Animate your scenes
Once a video is finished, ask Gemini to animate the scenes you want moving. Uses your included animated scenes, never your video minutes.

Ask if a video is ready and get the link when it lands. List everything you have made and see your plan and minutes left.
Save to Google Drive
Say "put that in my Drive" and a finished video or image is sent to your connected Google Drive. It costs nothing.
Before you start
Setting it up
Create your Gemini link in Digital Maker AI
Sign in, open Account Settings, then the AI Connector tab, click Set up on the Gemini card, then Create my Gemini link. Copy it straight away: it is only shown once. Treat it like a password.
Open Gemini on a computer
Go to gemini.google.com and sign in with a personal Google account. Custom apps are added on the Gemini website, not in the phone app, and work or school accounts do not have them.
Open Connectors
Click the four dots icon in the left sidebar, then Connectors at the top of the page.
Click + Custom and paste your link
Click + Custom at the top right, paste your Gemini link and continue. Gemini shows Digital Maker AI with its list of actions. Click Connect. Do not paste the link into a chat instead: Gemini cannot add a connector from a message, even when it says it has.

Start a new chat, type @ and pick Digital Maker AI, then ask for what you want in your own words.

Good to know
Gemini asks before spending your minutes
Looking things up, like channels, trends, your minutes or whether a video is ready, runs straight away. Anything that uses minutes or images shows an Allow button first; click Allow each time. Videos cost the same as in the app: one minute from your monthly pool per minute of video, or a flat one minute for a vertical Short.
Pictures and videos come as links
Thumbnails, characters, presenters, studio pictures and finished videos arrive as a link in the chat. Click it to view. Everything is also saved in your library on Digital Maker AI.
Getting new features
Gemini remembers the list of actions from when you connected. If something new is missing, remove Digital Maker AI from Connectors and add it again with + Custom.
Your link is a password
Anyone who has your link can use your account. Keep it out of screenshots and never paste it into a Gemini chat. If it gets out, remove it in Account Settings and create a new one. Links unused for 90 days expire on their own.
If something is not working
There is no + Custom button
Google has not turned on custom apps for that account yet. It needs a personal Google account on the Gemini website (gemini.google.com) on a computer. Work and school accounts, and the phone app, do not have it.
Gemini says it added the connector, but nothing happened
Gemini cannot add a connector from a chat message. Add it from the Connectors page with + Custom, as in step 4.
Gemini does not use Digital Maker AI
Start a new chat, type @ and pick Digital Maker AI from the list before you ask.
A new feature is missing
Gemini remembers the list of actions from when you connected. Remove Digital Maker AI from Connectors and add it again with + Custom and the same link.
It stopped working
Your link may have been removed or gone unused for 90 days. Create a new one in Account Settings, remove the old Digital Maker AI from Connectors and add it again with the new link.
